2008 WNC Fall Harvest Days Tractors
The theme of this year's show was agricultural implements and harvesting equipment. Above is an attachment for harvesting sod. The arm on the front is an aid to maintain even rows of sod. The cutter is on the left hand side and the sod is also chopped into sections a certain number of feet long. It runs up the conveyor and is then rolled. Behind the driver is a operator who takes the sod rolls off and stacks them on a platform beside him.
